Did you think the BP oil spill was all cleaned up? Did you think the worst was over, when in reality it isn't over. Since the oil spill caused four years ago BP alone has spent over 26 million dollars on trying to fix the damage or at least to cover it up to make it look like it was fixed. Till this day we still have issues with it because its not going away anytime soon. It takes years for the oil to break down and dissolve so we are stuck with this problem for a really long time. Fishermen not have only lost money and other things to try and help fix the Gulf, but are still losing money till this day because the Gulf of Mexico is home to a lot of oysters there and they have been declining ever since the oil spill in 2010. Oysters aren't the only ones dying off from this there is other sea creatures to like dolphins, with all of these creatures gone the food chain will be out of balance and there would be no more animals left. Not only are the animals getting harm but also our sea marshes and our beaches because the oil is all on the bottom. Living in oil is not a fun thing to do and its harmful for everyone. Bp needs to actually fix the problem instead of them saying they will and never actually doing so.
